An-Nisa

Struggles only grow with time,
And few struggles are greater
Than hers.
The collected sins of humanity
shackled to her ankle,
The subconscious shame of society
stamped on her body,
The lust and greed and gluttony
all focus on her;

Yet, without her
The sky falls,
And our revolution –
Strangled
As it sleeps.
