Lost and Found

I found the words that I needed
in the back of my drawer.

They were to be worn as clothes,
Tucked away for occasion.

Nobody saw us as we walked,
Verse proudly screaming as my heart.

I found the words that I needed
in the back of my drawer.

They were like life,
Awakening to find a good dream.

Roused for the fresh dawn,
Marching in step, in lines.

I found the words that I wanted
on the tip of my tongue.

Echoes that shook clean the dust
and lit up the sun until it smiled.

Reverberating joy, deathless love.
A mirror held before her face.

I found the words that I used
in the depths of Galilee.
